The “Movie Days” film festival is currently running at Green Light Films in Reykjavík, the only distributor in Iceland specializing in films from all corners of the world.

Highlights include Crazy Heart, for which Jeff Bridges claimed an Oscar, and Das Weisse Band (The White Ribbon), which received two Oscar nominations.
Another notable film is the Icelandic-Polish Dialog by director Cezary Iber. The film features the relationship between two young Poles in Iceland.
Unlike most of the other 30,000 Poles living in Iceland, who came to the country as guest workers, these two have come to carry out a large-scale photography project.
The film festival runs from April 16 to May 6 but after April 29 there are not as many screenings on the program. Tickets are available at the Regnboginn cinema in Reykjavík.
