Mountaineer Invites People to Join Him for 100th Peak

By Iceland Review

Thorvaldur Thórsson, who decided to climb Iceland’s 100 highest peaks in one year, is about to complete his goal. Tomorrow he will hike to the top of Hekla volcano, south Iceland, and invites anyone interested to join him.

Yesterday Thórsson climbed the second last peak on his list, Ragnarstindur in Öraefi, at the foot of Vatnajökull glacier, Morgunbladid reports.

Hikers interested in joining Thórsson in climbing the 100th and last peak on his journey, can register on the website for Icelandic Mountain Guides and by emailing [email protected].
