After confirming the first bands that will participate in the 2011 Iceland Airwaves music festival, which will take place in Reykjavík October 12-16, a few weeks ago, the festival’s organizers have now announced another batch of performers.

“From the USA we bring you John Grant who floored critics with his stunning debut Queen of Denmark, which MOJO aptly named album of the year 2010.
Legendary Swedish psychedelic rockers Dungen, Danish sunshine pop outfit Treefight for Sunlight and Switzerland’s amazing and odd Oy will be nicely placed on this sonic smorgasbord, along with Finland’s electro goodies Zebra and Snake.
From our little island in the North Atlantic Ocean we bring you Sin Fang with his lovely crochet beard and his addictive melodies and Agent Fresco, who will leave you wanting for more with their power-driven math rock.”
