Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men were among the ten recipients of the 2013 European Border Breakers Awards (EBBA) announced at the showcase Eurosonic Noorderslag festival in Groningen, The Netherlands, today.

The winners were announced by European Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilinguism and Youth and the Eurosonic festival, Androulla Vassiliou, today.
Fellow Icelandic artists Ásgeir Trausti Einarsson, Snorri Helgason, Epic Rain and Pascal Pinon are also attending this year’s Eurosonic festival.
