Icelandic band Of Monsters and Men have been nominated for the European MTV Awards in the ‘Best Push Artist’ category. Up–and-coming bands who have taken part in the MTV’s Push concerts in 2012 are eligible for an award in the category.

Other artists up for the award include Rita Ora and Carly Rae Jepsen.
The awards will be presented on November 11.
Earlier this year, the band was nominated for an MTV Video Music Award in the category ‘Best Art Direction’ for the video to their song ‘Little Talks’ but Katy Perry took home the award for her track ‘Wide Awake’.
