After performing in Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen, they will end their tour in Reykjavík on September 14 where they will hold two performances in collaboration with the Living Art Museum, as stated in a press release.

At 5 pm the artists’ performance involves a walk around the city center, which begins at the Hlemmur bus terminal, and at 8 pm they will perform separately at the Living Art Museum on Skúlagata 28.

Vaara is one of Finland’s best known artists and has worked as a performance artist for years. Kristinsson, who is Icelandic but lives in Finland, has also dedicated his career to performance art and has performed widely, though not in Iceland since 2006.

The Momentum Biennale is currently taking place in Moss, Norway. The art festival’s theme is based on the assumption that the world’s versatility is connected with memories and fantasy and their context within time and space.
