A mink was caught on video by the pond in downtown Reykjavík this morning, Vísir reports. Computer specialist Óskar Guðbrandsson was on his way to get a cup of coffee with his friend at 10 am when they noticed the mink.
“We saw it running over the pond on the ice. It was too small to be a cat, and then we realized it was a mink,” he recounted. “It went out to the small island and then continued to the City Hall. There, it came toward the bank and moved fast. Then you noticed the birds uniting against the beast… Then it jumped onto the bank and to the street, and there, we looked it in the eye.”
