Midsummer Walks in the West Fjords

Several walks are being planned as part of the initiative Gengið um sveit (‘walks in the countryside’) in Reykhólahreppur municipality in the southern West Fjords this weekend, June 21-24, on the occasion of midsummer.

Visitors are invited to join both long and short guided walks around the countryside, along with other events, suitable for all ages.

Walkers are entitled to discounts to the swimming pools at Reykhólar and Djúpidalur, seaweed baths at Reykhólar, the boat and natural resources exhibition at Reykhólar and the eagle exhibition at Króksfjarðarnes.
