Men Interviewed Three Times More Often in Icelandic News

Men are interviewed three times as often than women in broadcast news in Iceland, according to a new study by Creditinfo.

When both news and broadcast programs are taken together, 70 percent of interviews are with men and 30 percent with women, ruv.is reports.

Over 100,000 news or broadcast pieces were used in the study.

The study was carried out for the Association of Business Women in Iceland (FKA).
