Meat Sales Increase in Iceland

Sales of meat in Iceland in July increased by 11 percent compared to the same month last year. Sales also increased significantly from June, which were down 8.8 percent on June 2012 sales.

According to the latest figures posted on the Association of Icelandic Dairy and Beef Cattle Farmers’ website, sales of beef increased by 4 percent over the last 12 months, totaling 4,263 tons.
