By Iceland Review

The McNaught comet can currently be spotted in Iceland. Yesterday evening it was observed in the western part of the sky and this morning to the east.

McNaught is a periodical comet currently on its way through the inner part of the solar system. It is located east of the Earth at a distance of about one hundred million kilometers. Experts predict that the comet will be visible in Iceland until January 14. Fréttabladid reports.

On its journey, the comet travels close to the sun, about half as close as Mercury, the planet that is located closest to the sun of all the planets in the solar system.
