A woman in her forties stabbed a man in his sixties in the back with a pair of scissors in Reykjavík last night. The victim was rushed to hospital though his injuries were not life-threatening.
The assault took place in a flat in West Reykjavík where the couple had been partying. For reasons unknown, the woman rammed the scissors into the man’s back. He managed to crawl out of the flat and call for a help. The would was a few centimeters long but rather shallow. According to the news web visir.is, the woman and two men who were in the flat with them have been arrested.
Reykjavík police also arrested nine people last night on drug possession charges. The suspects were arrested in two hotels. Around one hundred grams of hashish were confiscated.
