Reykjavík District Court sentenced a man to three and a half years in prison this week for raping a woman at the end of June last year. The convicted man maintained his innocence but his testimony was considered incredible.

The man, Tomasz Burdzan, was found guilty of having pushed the victim into a cupboard or shelf so that she lost consciousness and didn’t regain consciousness until she was in the man’s bed, visir.is reports.
