Man Loses Tooth for Pinching the Wrong Rear

A man was granted ISK 140,000 (USD 2,100, EUR 1,400) in damages in court yesterday after having lost his tooth in a bar fight. The victim claimed he had, by mistake, pinched the buttock of another man’s woman, but had been aiming for the buttocks of his own fiancée.

The man and his fiancée had been out on the town. He said he thought he saw her standing by the bar and decided to surprise her with a loving pinch on the behind, Fréttabladid reports.

Unfortunately the owner of the buttocks he had pinched was not his fiancée and her boyfriend did not believe the pincher’s story of having confused the women.

In response, the angry boyfriend hit the man in the face, resulting in the lost tooth. The attacker was also given a five-month provisional sentence.
