A man, who is in his early thirties, was sentenced to ten years in prison in Northeast Iceland District Court today for sex offences against two boys and a woman with disabilities. The man was brought into custody in August after violating the boys.
The District Commissioner’s report reads that the man tricked the boys, who were playing outside his apartment, to follow him inside. He admitted to having spanked them but the boys described sexual violations of a more severe nature, which were confirmed by a medical examination, ruv.is reports.
When questioned about the incident by the police, the man claimed not to remember what had happened. The man has been found guilty of sexual abuse against children on earlier occasion. In today’s verdict, he was also convicted for sexual violations against a woman with disabilities.
