Man Confesses to Murdering Mother of His Child

The man notified hospital employees of the body, who immediately called the police. The police fenced the car off with a white tent and the police’s forensic team investigated the scene carefully, Morgunbladid reports.

The body was removed from the trunk around 9 pm and afterwards the car, a Mitsubishi Galant, was also taken away.

According to Fréttabladid’s sources, there weren’t many marks on the young woman’s body and physicians and police officers weren’t able to determine how she had died last night.

The victim, who was born in 1990, appeared to have been dead for a few hours when her body was taken to the hospital. It is also uncertain where she died and under what circumstances.

The man was arrested and questioned after the incident. Two young men arrived at the scene shortly after the police had fenced off the scene. They claimed to be the suspect’s brothers and said he had called them two hours earlier.

The police wouldn’t comment on the case, stating the course of events was unclear and that the investigation is in the absolute beginning stages.
