On Sunday morning, the Reykjavík Police arrested a man who had come to the Emergency Center at Landspítali in Reykjavík with a concealed handgun.
The man will be in jail until he can be interrogated and the ownership of the gun established. In Iceland handgun ownership is illegal. Very few murders or violent crimes have been committed with a gun in Iceland.
