A drunken man in Laugavegur broke a window pane in the Monte Carlo restaurant on Tuesday night, then hit a polar bear in the head and finally attacked a pedestrian who defended himself until police arrived.

The polar bear lost his head, but the drunkard was put in jail to sleep it off. The bear was a puppet. This can be read on the Reykjavík police’s Facebook page.
