Majority Against EU Application

Approximately 58 percent of those surveyed said they would like Iceland to withdraw its EU application, according to visir.is.

The survey, which was conducted by MMR for the webpage andriki.is, found thatonly 24 percent are against withdrawing the application. Two out of three think the 990 million ISK that the application process is estimated to cost is badly spent, while 20 percent think it is well spent.
