Lína Sigrídur Hreidarsdóttir, a mail carrier in Mosfellsbaer, a neighboring town of Reykjavík, suffered considerable injuries when a Dalmatian attacked her on the job on Monday. It bit her in the stomach; she fell badly and broke both her shinbone and fibula.

“I saw the leash snap and when it had reached me I couldn’t run or do anything. I almost lost my mind, I was so scared. And then I heard when my leg broke,” Hreidarsdóttir described to Morgunbladid.
Hreidarsdóttir wants the dog to be put down. She said it was clear that it was determined to attack her; it tore the leash and didn’t listen to its owner. According to Fréttabladid, a behavioral evaluation will determine the fate of the dog.
