Residents of the East Iceland town of Seyðisfjörður have been weather-bound for two days. Roads have been impassable due to heavy snow, Morgunblaðið reports.
Domestic flights resumed to all parts of the country apart from Ísafjörður, the West Fjords, by last night. There have been no flights to Ísafjörður since Saturday.
