Seismic activity at Bárðarbunga is similar as before, as stated on the website of the Icelandic Met Office.
Two earthquakes over magnitude 4.0 have occurred during the past 12 hours, the largest, which was of magnitude 5.0, at 4:37 this morning.
Visibility is not good in the area and the eruption could not be seen on webcams last night.
