MA Music Program Held in Fish Oil Tank

The town of Ísafjödur is participating in an inter-European art school project involving students from 22 art schools in Holland, the UK, Finland and Iceland.

The group is working on an European project called Joint Music Masters for New Audiences and Innovative Practice and the town of Ísafjördur is the external partner of the Icelandic Academy of the Arts. Morgunbladid reports.

The aim of the project is to create new fields in MA programs in music, a program that aims to expand the fields of music and increase the flexibility of music.

The group has been traveling around the Western Fjords and paid a visit to the well-known Fish Oil Studio, a recording studio in Flateyri housed in an old fish oil tank.
