Lýsi hf. receives export awards

The Icelandic cod liver oil company Lýsi hf. received export awards from Iceland’s President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson at a special ceremony at the presidential residence at Bessastadir, outside Reykjavík, yesterday.

The export awards are given to companies in recognition of noteworthy contribution to the strengthening of exports and the obtaining of currency, as RÚV reports.

Lýsi hf. is considered to have reached unique results in sales and marketing on cod liver oil products abroad and foresight in product development.

The company was awarded with a sculpture made by the artist Leifur Breidfjörd.
