Lúlli, a white and auburn Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dog was abducted from outside a shopping mall in Reykjavík, but has now been returned to its owner.
The dog was stolen from outside the shopping mall in Gerduberg, Reykjavík, last Friday night, reported Fréttabladid.
Lúlli’s owner had tied him to a fence while shopping. In the meantime, according to eyewitnesses, two kidnappers abducted the dog.
About 24 hours later, the kidnappers called the police, claiming to have found a lost dog. They asked the police to inform the owner and to tell him to meet them at a certain time and place.
When the owner arrived he encountered a little girl, who handed Lúlli over to him. According to Fréttabladid, the owner did not want to question the girl.
