Swedes rank second among Nordic men with an average life expectancy of 80.1 years, followed by Norwegian men with 79.7 years, while Danish men must do with 78 years and Finns only 77.8 years.
While Finnish women live the longest of Nordic females, they are closely followed by Icelandic and Swedish women, who can expect to live an average of 83.7 years. Ranking fourth are Norwegian women with 83.6 years, while Danish women must put up with the shortest life expectancy of Nordic women, or 81.9 years.
