Flight FI615 departing Keflavík at 17:05 will run, as will the 21:00 flight, FI614, from New York.
Icelandair information officer Guðjón Arngrímsson said that the plan was to run two flights today but the airline did not receive authorization from JFK Airport in New York. Traffic is restricted following the aftermath of the storm, mbl.is reports.
According to Iceland Airwaves music festival information officer Kamilla Ingibergsdóttir, the closure of JKF Airport in New York means that many artists may arrive later than planned but the organizers are doing their best to get everyone to the country.
