Lecture on the Opportunities of a Crisis in Reykjavík

German “idea architect” Christopher Patrick Peterka will discuss the opportunities involved in an economic crisis in his lecture “An End is a Start – Thoughts about Pioneering the Fall” at Reykjavík Art Museum – Hafnarhús tomorrow at 8 pm.

Peterka is the founder and managing partner of the think tank Gannaca located in Cologne, New York and Shanghai since 2002. He travels the world, motivating promising pioneers.

Peterka is well-informed about the crisis in Iceland through his Icelandic connections and considers himself a friend of Iceland.

Peterka studied business administration, political, social and media science at the universities of Cologne and Duesseldorf.

He is also a board member of science magazine GDI Impuls, cooperator of the institute of applied virtuality (IAV) and mentor the international institute for inspiration and formation (IIIF).

The event is organized by the Iceland Design Center in cooperation with Reykjavík Art Museum. The lecture is in English and entrance is free.
