Larry King Show in Iceland Canceled

The show which award-winning American television and radio presenter Larry King was planning to host in Harpa, the new concert and conference center in Reykjavík, on September 23 has been canceled due to slow ticket sales.

“Almost no tickets had been sold. I think people didn’t realize what he was going to do,” Gudbjartur Finnbjörnsson, who organized the event, told King had planned to review his career and answer questions from the audience, as stated on Harpa’s website.

During his long career as a television presenter, King has interviewed all US presidents of the past decades and many other world leaders, including Vladimir Putin, world-famous artists like Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney and Marlon Brando, and more recently Lady GaGa, as well as infamous criminals such as Charles Manson.
