Nearly 2,000 people from 67 choirs in all of the Nordic and Baltic countries are taking part in a choir assembly in Reykjavík, the Nordic-Baltic Choral Festival, and will sing together at the Culture Night on this coming Saturday.

Never before has a choir assembly with as many people been held in Iceland, Morgunbladid reports.
Many concerts are scheduled in the coming days, including one at 7:30 pm on Culture Night. The choir assembly ends with a sing-along on Sunday.
According to Fréttabladid, during Culture Night, the choirs will spread out around the city and perform for passers-by on street corners.
