Landsbanki Bank was chosen as Iceland’s best marketing company this year as announced at the 17th annual ÍMARK, the Association of Icelandic Marketers, award ceremony at Hilton Reykjavík Nordica this week.
“All campaigns the bank has carried through in 2007 have delivered the desired results and detailed market research enables the bank to set its goals higher and higher,” head of ÍMARK Elísabet Sveinsdóttir said in her speech.
Glitnir Bank and Iceland Express were also nominated for the award. Andri Már Ingólfsson, owner of Heimsferdir Travel Agency, took home the award for outstanding individual achievement in marketing.
President of Iceland, Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson, presented the ÍMARK awards this year.
