Kira Kira will perform music from her new album Feathermagnetik at Harpa concert and conference center on September 29 with Skúli Sverrisson on bass, Úlfur Hansson on electronics and various instruments, and Pétur Hallgrímsson on lap steel guitar.

Visuals by Sara Gunnarsdóttir will accompany Kira Kira’s performance, which is part of this year’s Reykjavík International Film Festival.
Kira Kira is Icelandic composer and audio/visual artist Kristín Björk Kristjansdóttir. Feathermagnetik was produced in Berlin, Reykjavík and Finland.

In other music news, the 11-piece Icelandic reggae band Ojba Rasta release their debut album on Tuesday. The self-titled album is released through Records Records.
