King’s Road to Participate in Karlovy Vary Film Festival

kongavegur-posterIcelandic feature film Kóngavegur (King’s Road) has been selected to appear in the respected Czech film festival Karlovy Vary, which begins in the first week of July.

King’s Road will be screened along with nine other European films as part of a special program particularly recommended by the critics of the film magazine Variety, a press release states.

King’s Road is a comedy set in a trailer park in Iceland. The daily life there is upset when Júníor returns home after three years abroad bringing loads of problems with him.

Among actors are Gísli Örn Gardarsson, Daniel Brühl, Nanna Kristín Magnúsdóttir and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson.
