Kimono Plays in Havarí Record Store

Icelandic rock band Kimono released its third studio record, Easy Music for Difficult People, yesterday and will celebrate the release with a concert in the Havarí record store in central Reykjavík today at 5 pm.

Kimono is among the foremost Icelandic rock bands and quickly rose to popularity after the release of their first album, Mineur Aggresif, in 2003, according to information from Kimi Records.

Easy Music for Difficult People is the band’s first album as a trio; bassist Halldór Ragnarsson left the band two years ago to focus on other things.

Kimi Records is busy releasing albums these days. Among these is the third studio album by Mordingjarnir, which appeared in local record stores late last month.
