Joining Jón on the list are Davíð Oddsson and Ingibjörg Sólrún Gísladóttir.
During the same period, eight Reykjavík mayors did not complete their term.
Jón Gnarr has decided to step down at the end of this term. Municipal elections will be held on May 31. His Best Party will be dissolved and members will be absorbed by Bright Future.
