Jóhannesson Influential in British Fashion

Director of the Baugur Group, Jón Ásgeir Jóhannesson is the fourth most influential man in the British fashion industry according to professional fashion weekly Drapers Record.

The magazine has just published a list of the 100 most influential people in British fashion. Number one on the list is Philip Green, the owner of Arcadia and BHS; second is Simon Wolfson, the director of Next, and third is Stuart Rose, director of Marks and Spencers.

Drapers Record says that the Baugur Group has increased its influence on fashion drastically over the past year by buying well known companies. Among the other people on the list are Adidas, model Kate Moss, and designer Karl Lagerfeld.
