“From hot prospects to superstars, this night will have everything Iceland’s jazz and blues scene has to offer,” as promised on icelandmusic.is.

June 4 will be dedicated to Icelandic organist legend Thórir Baldursson with performances in Salurinn and on Sunday the festival will close in the church Lindakirkja (click here to buy tickets).

Meanwhile, the Hafnarfjördur arts and cultural festival Bright Days will run through June 5. The aim of Bright Days is to provide entertainment for locals and visitors, and to promote local arts and artists. Click here to read the program in English.

Last but not least, the sixth annual Icelandic Tattoo Convention will take place at capital venue Sódóma Reykjavík next weekend, June 3-5. Tattoo artists from the US and Iceland will offer their services and foreign journalists will cover the event.

The venue opens at 1 pm tomorrow. Tickets cost ISK 700 (USD 6, EUR 4) but weekend passes are also available, as stated on pressan.is.
