ISK 20 Million Raised for Syrian Refugees

UNICEF in Iceland and Fatímusjóðurinn have raised ISK 20 million (USD 147,000, EUR 135,000) for the education of Syrian refugee children. The money will be used to run a center for information education for 350 children in Jordan.

Children will be taught reading, writing as well as vocational and life skills. Psychological support and other support will also be provided, visir.is reports.
