Iceland Review editor and photographer Páll Stefánsson has been named Sony Country Imaging Ambassador for Iceland, made official on Sony’s website in the last few days. He is one of 17 Country Ambassadors and 11 Global Ambassadors worldwide.
Sony seeks photographers on both local and global levels to work with the company.
“Global Ambassadors include an elite group of photographers who are unique in both stature and international appeal and are selected for their range in style, expertise and artistic charisma. Country Ambassadors are carefully chosen on local levels to represent their individual Sony markets and together form a greatly diverse group of imaging professionals,” a description reads on the company’s webpage.
Páll has been with Iceland Review since 1982. He has published more than 35 books and held exhibitions on all continents, with the exception of Antarctica.
