IR Columnist Interviewed by Cosmopolitan

zombieiceland_na_okeibaekurNanna Árnadóttir had been a devout Daily Life columnist for icelandreview.com for many years—and still contributes with the occasional music review—when she decided to concentrate on other projects earlier this year.

Nanna’s debut novel Zombie Iceland has garnered considerable attention. Cosmopolitan.co.uk asked her in a recent interview how a university degree helped launch her career and what it is like being a published author with another novel in the works while working full-time at a bank.

“One day I’d like to live off writing books, but that’s impossible to predict. I love writing, but I also love knowing that my water won’t get cut off because I can’t pay my bills. I’m very lucky that during my day job as Social Media and SEO Officer at Saxo Bank in Denmark I get to be creative every day,” Nanna tells cosmopolitan.co.uk.

She informed IR that her new novel is under the working title of Book Number Two and Okeibækur have first rights for publishing. The book is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
