US internet celebrity Matthew Harding, aka Dancing Matt, danced in Ingólfstorg square in downtown Reykjavík yesterday and asked any Icelanders interested to join him. Harding plans to dance with natives in every country in Europe.
Harding has traveled to every continent to dance in different countries alongside the natives, recording a video in each place. Harding then edits the videos and posts them on his website.
In an interview with Morgunbladid, Harding said over 10 million people had visited his website and looked at his travel journals over the past two years.
Iceland marks the beginning of Harding’s European tour.
