“Inspired by Iceland” Free Concert by Eyjafjallajökull Tomorrow

Iceland Inspires is an open air concert organized by the Inspired by Iceland campaign. It will take place close to the now quiet Eyjafjallajökull volcano at Hamragardar near Seljalandsfoss waterfall, on Thursday July 1st. The concert will begin at 8pm GMT and end at 11pm.

The concert’s lineup is extraordinary: Amiina, Damien Rice, Dikta, For a Minor Reflection, Glen Hansard, Gus Gus, Hafdís Huld, Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson, Hjaltalín, Lay Low, Mammút, Mia Maestro, Parabólur, Páll á Húsafelli, Pondus, Seabear, Spiritualized Acoustic Mainlines and Steindór Andersen.

Iceland Inspires will be streamed live around the world. The live stream will also feature specially pre-filmed songs on stunning locations around Iceland.

Iceland Excursions offers a free transfer to Hamragardar, which is a two-hour drive from Reykjavik. Departure from our bus terminal at Lækjartorg will be at 6pm. The pick-up for the transfer back to Reykjavik city will be directly after the concert.
