Recent inflation has been explained by the fact that winter sales are coming to an end and the price of gasoline and diesel has gone up by 3 percent.

The price of clothing and shoes on the other hand rose by 5.3 percent and furniture by 3.2 percent, according to the Bureau of Statistics.
