Independent: Icelandic Thriller in Top Ten

The suspense novel I Remember You (Ég man þig) by Icelandic author Yrsa Sigurðardóttir, which was released in English last week, has received favorable reviews in the British press.

The Independent’s observers concluded that it was among the top ten thrillers this winter, while The Guardian’s critic stated that Yrsa kept readers spellbound with her ghostly writing and Marie Claire’s reviewer described the novel as chilling, visir.is reports.

Originally published in Iceland in 2010, I Remember You was named Thriller of the Year by both the national and West Fjords’ crime literature associations, claiming the Blood Drop trophy.
