Some drivers are in the dark about lights. One evening this week, police stopped a car on Reykjanesbraut road, which lies between Keflavík and Reykjavík, because it was moving suspiciously slowly. That was not all that caught the attention of police. The vehicle’s hazard lights were on, while other lights were turned off.
In the driver’s seat, police found a foreign tourist who had trouble finding his way to Reykjavík. Officers taught him how to turn on the lights and helped him find his way to a hotel in Reykjavík.
Another driver on the same road needed the assistance of police one night. He, too, was a foreign tourist, traveling alone. His car had been moving in unusual ways, causing police to interfere. As it turned out, the driver had no prior experience driving in darkness. Police assisted him in getting to his destination.
