According to a recent study undertaken by the World Economic Forum (WEF), Iceland is among countries where equality between sexes has improved the most.
The WEF study revealed the Nordic countries share the greatest equality between the genders, but no country in the world has reached the goal of complete equality between the two sexes. Morgunbladid reports.
Equality has improved the most in Iceland, Sweden, Norway and Finland, and after the Nordic countries, Germany has improved the most in terms of equality between sexes.
According to the study, inequality is great in five countries within the European Union; in Greece, France, Malta, Italy and Cyprus.
