Imminent Eruption in Grímsvötn in Iceland

All signs seem to indicate that an eruption is beginning at Grímsvötn volcano in Vatnajökull glacier. Earthquake meters showed clear “volcanic unrest” around 6 PM on Saturday. “All indications are that an eruption will start in this area,” according to Iceland met geologist Hjörleifur Sveinbjörnsson, according to mbl.is.

Sveinbjörnsson said that the unrest was present in meters in many locations around the country and indications were that an eruption may already have started.
