The annual campaign Pink October to raise awareness of cancer among women and funds for cancer treatment kicked off last Wednesday.
This year, the campaign will also include an auction, in which Iceland’s leading artists, designers, comedians and public figures offer up their creations or services. These included, in addition to the above mentioned photograph, a guitar signed by members of the rock band Of Monsters and Men and a bespoke dress by Icelandic fashion brand ELLA.
