Iceland’s first private radio station celebrates 20 years

Bylgjan, the first private radio station launched in Iceland after laws stipulating a state monopoly were abolished, turns 20 years old today. To commemorate the event, former news anchors are reading the news and ‘voices from the past’ are directing the programming.
