A sculpture by the Icelandic artist Steinunn Þórarinsdóttir was stolen recently from a bench on Strøget in central Copenhagen. Steinunn specializes in sculptures of people and her works have been displayed in New York and various other places.

An Icelandic woman took a picture of a man carrying the statue awayand sent it to the Danish police and various media.
Now the work has been returned by a man who claims he found the work and took it home in a taxi. It is not clear at this moment whether this is the man in the picture.
